The First Impact Factor for Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Anesthesia: 0.9

We are pleased to announce that the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Anesthesi (JOMA) has attained its first impact factor for the 2025 citation year: 0.9 (Figure 1).

Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Anesthesia (J Oral Maxillofac Anesth, JOMA, ISSN 2790-8852) is published by AME Publishing Company, with support from Wolters Kluwer (the journal content will be made available on Wolters Kluwer Health’s Lippincott and Ovid platforms). It is an open access, peer-reviewed journal focusing on anesthesia applied in oral and maxillofacial surgery, head and neck surgery, and otorhinolaryngologic surgery etc. As an online publishing journal, it seeks to create a platform for researchers and clinicians by presenting pertinent investigations, for discussing critical questions relevant to the entire fields of oral and maxillofacial anesthesia, and aiming to develop new perspectives for all those issues concerned with oral and maxillofacial anesthesia. Currently, JOMA has been indexed by Web of Science [Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI)] and Scopus.

The release of the first impact factor of JOMA marks an important milestone, highlighting the journal’s growing academic influence and recognition in the fields of oral and maxillofacial anesthesia. It further paves the way for continued international growth and impact. We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere appreciation to our Editorial Board Members, Guest Editors, Authors, Reviewers, and Readers for their invaluable support and contributions.

2025 Journal Impact Factors of AME journals

We are also pleased to share the latest impact factors of all journals published under AME Publishing Company (Table 1).

  • 37 AME journals received a Journal Impact Factor (JIF) this year, with three journals receiving their first JIF
  • 12 journals have one or more categories ranked in Q1 or Q2
